ISLAMABAD: British-Pakistani boxer Amir Khan and his wife Faryal Makhdoom Khan called on Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad on Wednesday.
During the meeting, Amir Khan expressed his desire to play a role in promoting boxing in Pakistan.
In his remarks, the prime minister said the country’s youth have a huge potential in sports and utilizing their abilities positively is priority of his government.
He welcomed Amir Khan’s offer to work for promotion of boxing in the country.
The PM’s special assistant on political affairs Naeemul Haq and others were also present in the meeting.
